JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER 23-08-2018 Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. In this case, the petitioner is claiming her entry in the police service by declaring her to be the member of scheduled caste.
The status of the husband does not decide the status of caste of the wife and always the status of caste is co-related to the caste of the father. So, the petitioner cannot get entry in the police service by way of scheduled caste candidate. The grievance has also been raised that the respondents have not provided the result of the petitioner.
Patna High Court CWJC No.12889 of 2018(2) dt.23-08-2018 2/2 Let the petitioner file an application under the Right to Information Act before the competent authority. If such an application is filed, the authority concerned will supply the result of the petitioner.
With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
