2. Counsel for the petitioners submits that their lands have been acquired for the purpose of establishment of Police Line, but in this regard, very petty amount has been given to them, due to which petitioners are not satisfied with the said amount.
3. Counsel further submits that the petitioners have received the amount of compensation with objection and filed
Patna High Court CWJC No.745 of 2016(2) dt.26-09-2023 2/2 this writ petition that their matter may be referred before the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (LARR) Authority.
4. Counsel for the State submits that under the statute, the petitioners are at liberty to file application under Section 64 of the RFCTLARR (Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement) Act, 2013 before the District Magistrate.
5. In this view of the matter, the petitioners are directed to file their application before the District Magistrate, Supaul under Section 64 of the RFCTLARR (Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement) Act, 2013 (Act No.30 of 2013) within 4 weeks' from today for enhancement of their compensation and the District Magistrate, Supaul is directed to refer this matter before the the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (LARR) Authority.
6. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ application is hereby disposed of.
