Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sarayia P.S. Case No. 279 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341,323,324,307,504,506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner allegedly gave knife blow at the abdomen of the son of the informant. The doctor has found grievous injury in the abdomen of the injured caused by knife. Petitioner is in custody since 01.10.2018.

Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner, above named, on bail. Hence, prayer is refused.

The learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12731 of 2019(3) dt.19-06-2019 2/2 and conclude the same preferably within six months from the date of framing of the charges, failing which the petitioner would be at liberty to renew the prayer.
