The petitioner seeks bail in Special Case No. 8261 of 2018, arising out of Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 254 of 2018, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 401, 379, 411, 414 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of Arms Act and Sections 30(a) and 38 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that one Sixer (pistol) along with one Mobile phone has been recovered from possession of the petitioner.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 8.9.2018.

Keeping in view the period spent by the petitioner in custody, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let

No.9115 of 2019(2) dt.18-02-2019 2/2 the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna, in connection with Special Case No. 8261 of 2018, arising out of Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 254 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors will be the close relatives of the petitioner.
