2. This writ application has been filed for directing the respondents to make payment of compensation for the acquired land according to the new Land Acquisition Act, 2013.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that after receiving the notice (Annexure - 1), petitioner made an application on 5th December, 2015 for fixing compensation as per new Land Acquisition Act, 2013 before the Collector, Bhagalpur / respondent no. 5 (Annexure - 2), which is still

Patna High Court CWJC No.864 of 2016(3) dt.12-10-2023 2/2 pending for disposal. Accordingly, he requests for directing the concerned respondent to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner.

4. In view of prayer made on behalf of the petitioner, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the concerned respondent i.e. respondent no. 5 to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt / production of copy of this order
