For issuance of any appropriate writ or writs, order/orders Direction/directions commanding and directing the respondents Bandhan Bank with regard to pay the death claim amount to the petitioner who is the father of late Vijay Kumar Prasad and also legal heir and nominee of the Insurance Policy.
ii. For issuance of any writ/writs, Rule/ directions specially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent Banks to pay the death claim amount to the petitioner

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
