JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 09-01-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

Petitioners are in jail custody since 13.08.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 354, 324, 326, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Taking into consideration that there is allegation that petitioners threw acid on the informant as well as his wife causing serious injury to them, I am not inclined to release the petitioners on bail and hence, their prayer for bail in connection with Madhaura P.S. Case No. 204 of 2013 pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra stands rejected.

However, the concerned court should expedite the trial of the petitioners.
