The petitioner seeks regular bail in Kalyanpur P.S. Case No. 281 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 323 and other allied Sections of the Indian Penal Code as well as Section 3(i)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The allegation against the petitioner is that he caught the informant and abused him by naming his caste and also assaulted him with fists and slaps.

It is submitted that four days ago the father of the informant lodged a case making same and similar allegation against the elder brother of the petitioner.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2155 of 2015 (2) dt.19-01-2015 allegation and the fact that the petitioner is in jail since 18.10.2014, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Kalyanpur P.S. Case No. 281 of 2014, corresponding to G.R. No. 4706 of 2014.
