JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 13-12-2022 In the instant petition, the Court was monitoring construction of NH-57A - Forbesganj - ICP at Jogbani section on EPC.

Patna High Court CWJC No.2987 of 2022 dt.13-12-2022 2/2 Dr. K.N.Singh states that entire stretch of road stands completed and is going to be fully functional and operational on or before 31st December, 2022.

We direct that in any event, the road would be made fully functional and operational with effect from 1st January, 2023. NHAI shall ensure compliance of the order.

We are happy to record that on account of efforts put in by all the learned counsel and more specifically, Shri P.K.Shahi, learned Amicus Curiae, construction is now complete and the road is going to be fully functional and operational from 1st of January, 2023. Needless to say, the road would be maintained, as is so executed, in terms of and under the agreement entered into between the NHAI and the concessionaire/contractor. Present proceedings stands closed.
