JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-07-2023 The present petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- "(i) To issue a writ of mandamus and to direct the respondent authorities to pay the arrears of salary with penal interest for about 32 months which is still due to the petitioner which is for the petitioner September, 1999 to February, 2001 and May, 2002 to June-2003."

Though the petitioner is stated to be dead, however, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner be granted liberty to

Patna High Court CWJC No.24727 of 2013(2) dt.06-07-2023 2/2 approach the respondent authorities, in case the arrears of outstanding salary of the deceased petitioner has not stood paid. Liberty so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner approach the respondent authorities by filing a representation for payment of the outstanding salary, within a period of four weeks from today, a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed theron within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
