JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 27-02-2020 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Gopalganj Nagar P.S. Case No. 487 of 2019, registered for offences punishable under Sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner and one co-accused is of snatching Rs. 5400/- from the informant and the petitioner was caught on chase by the villagers and handed over to the police.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has falsely been implicated in this case and the real fact is that the co-accused has lodged a case against the informant, due to which, he has been made accused in this case and he has been in custody since 28.09.2019.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8495 of 2020(2) dt.27-02-2020 2/2 learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer for bail on the ground that petitioner was caught on chase and apart from that he is accused in three other cases. Having heard both sides, in view of the allegation as well as criminal antecedent of the petitioner, at this stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
