JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 02-03-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Sono P.S. Case No.182 of 2017 for offences under Sections 143, 145, 147, 149, 150, 152, 186, 353, 323, 332, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

It is alleged that the petitioner is known to the police for protesting and blocking Sono Chowk. It is further alleged that approximately 150-200 persons assembled on the road and stopped the police personnel in discharging their duties. Considering the fact that the petitioner was among the people demonstrating against failure of system,this Court is inclined to
