The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Fulkaha P.S. Case No. 162 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 37.8 litres of illicit liquor from the motorcycle belonging to the accused persons.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case inasmuch as the motorcycle does not belong to the petitioner herein. It is submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Araria in connection with Fulkaha P.S. Case No. 162 of 2018, Special Case No. 1111 of 2018.
