It appears that Inspector General of Police Headquarter, Patna vide order dated 21.9.2016 rejected the claim of the petitioner for promotion.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that last portion of the order reflects that representation filed by the petitioner is still pending.

In view of the fact that reasoned order has been passed

Patna High Court MJC No.3188 of 2016 (3) dt.13-12-2017 dealing with the case of the petitioner about his entitlement, this Court is of the view that asking the opposite party to dispose of the representation will be of no use. The petitioner, if so advised, may take legal course against the order dated 21.9.2016.

With the aforesaid observation this application is disposed of.
