Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 498A, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

It is a case of torture and harassment due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. Petitioner is husband of the opposite party No. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has been compromised between the parties and counsel for the opposite party No. 2 does not dispute the contention made on behalf of the petitioner.

No.10513 of 2023(3) dt.11-07-2023 2/2 In view of the fact that matter has already been compromised between the parties, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Bhabua, Kaimur in Complaint Case No. 191 of 2020, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
