The petitioner is in custody in connection with Malsalami P.S. Case No. 362 of 2019 (Special Case No. 123 of 2019) for the offences under Sections 20, 21, 22 of N.D.P.S. Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 25.09.2019. He further submits that in the instant case 5.200 Kg. Ganja was seized but nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he has no concern with the seized Ganja.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner,

No.7982 of 2020(2) dt.05-02-2020 2/2 let the petitioner, named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court of learned Sessions Judge/Special Judge, Patna in connection with Malsalami P.S. Case No. 362 of 2019 (Special Case No. 123 of 2019), subject to condition that Court below is directed to expedite the trial on day to day basis and conclude the same within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
