The petitioners are apprehending arrest in connection with Basopatti P.S. Case No. 174 of 2019 for offences under Sections 272,273 IPC and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. In the instant case total 34.200 of liquor was seized from two motorcycles and not from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on
