07-01-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. This is second attempt made on behalf of the petitioner. Earlier prayer of the petitioner was allowed vide order dated 30th October 2012 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 37461/2012 in connection with Chowk P.S. Case No. 23/2012 pending before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna City, apart from others on the submissions that prior to present one he has no criminal case against, but finding altogether eight more cases besides present one against him, he could not be released, consequently the present application.

As is evident from the report of the trial court, now, trial is to be commenced. In that view of the matter, specially taking into consideration the criminal antecedent, prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is hereby refused. However, trial court is directed to do all the needfuls to conclude the trial preferably within a year.
