The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise Case No. 1270 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) and 32 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 8.2 litres of illicit liquor from the house of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent. Lastly, it is submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 28.12.2018.
