Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as learned A.P.P. for the State.
Petitioner is in jail custody since 25.10.2019 in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 359/2019 registered under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner is not named in the first information report but in course of investigation, some witnesses claimed to have identified the petitioner in footage of video. Moreover, it is submitted that having similar allegation, some co-accused have
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7993 of 2020(3) dt.19-03-2020 2/2 already been granted privilege of bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 22.1.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 87102/2019.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties as also taking note that petitioner is an old man aged about 65 years and does not have any criminal antecedents, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Raniganj P.S.
