JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 18-03-2017 The petitioner is in custody since 14.09.2016 in connection with Barauni (Zeromile O.P.) P.S. Case No. 27 of 2015, N.D.P.S. Case No. 01(A)/2015 registered for offences punishable under Section 20/22 of NDPS Act.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner's name has transpired in this case only on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused made before the police and except that there is nothing against the petitioner and he has been in custody since 14.09.2016.

Learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Having heard both sides, in view of fact that petitioner's name transpired in this case on confessional statement and also in this case huge quantity of ganja has been recovered, as such, I am
