2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dumra P.S. Case No. 283 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)©/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act and Section 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.
3. One Kg. of Charas was recovered from the accused persons who were caught on the motorcycle. The petitioner was not caught on the spot. He is in jail since 14.12.2023.
4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11488 of 2024(3) dt.18-04-2024 2/2 let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Sitamarhi in connection with Dumra P.S. Case No. 283 of 2023.
6. The petitioner will also mark attendance in Suppi Police Station, Sitamarhi on the first and third Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would be result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) P. Kumar U T
