JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 21-03-2017 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 25(1-b)a and 26 of the Arms Act. A pistol was recovered from the pocket of this petitioner.

The petitioner is in custody since 10.11.2016. The petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail for the present.

The prayer for bail is refused.

However, in the event of non-conclusion of the trial within six months from today, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail before the Court below itself, who shall dispose of the same according to law. (Birendra Kumar, J) SA/- U √ T √
