The petitioner seeks bail in Daudnagar P.S. Case No. 348 of 2013, registered for the offence punishable under Section 304B of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is the husband. Father of the deceased alleged that within six months of the marriage his daughter was killed.
Shri Krishna Pd. Singh, learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the father alleged that the victim was strangulated to death, but no injury was found in the post-mortem report. Viscera report is also available on record and it shows the presence of Endosulfa a chloro-organic pesticide. The victim committed suicide.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33116 of 2014 (4) dt.16-04-2015 2/2 It appears that the victim died within six months of her marriage and the viscera report shows that the victim died due to poisoning. The petitioner is the husband.
Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order as the petitioner has already remained in jail for about a year.
