The petitioner has prayed for modification of the order dated 23.9.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no.17751 of 2020 granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Naubatput P.S. Case no. 21 of 2020.

By the said order dated 23.9.2020, the petitioner was directed to surrender in the learned Court below within a period of eight weeks.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner happens to be a lady and it is for reasons beyond her control that she could not surrender within the time fixed in the order dated 23.9.2020. Hence this application. It is further submitted that in compliance of the direction of this

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10507 of 2022(3) dt.30-03-2022 2/2 Court a cost of Rs.10,000/- has been deposited and a copy of the receipt thereof has been filed along with the supplementary affidavit.

Heard learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the averments made in the instant application and the petitioner being a lady having no criminal antecedent, the instant application is allowed and the order dated 23.9.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no.17751 of 2020 is modified to the extent that the time granted therein for the petitioner to surrender in the learned Court below is extended by a further period of 3 weeks from today. Remaining part of the order dated 23.9.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no.17751 of 2020 shall remain unchanged. The modification application stands allowed to the above extent.
