2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Maranga P.S. Case No. 306 of 2024, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c) and 21(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. As per prosecution case, altogether 41 grams of smack was recovered from the three accused persons.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. The name of the petitioner surfaced in this case on the basis of confessional statement of apprehended co-accused person. Petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 09.01.2025.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid fact and also period of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12209 of 2025(2) dt.07-03-2025 2/2 custody, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the court of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Purnea/concerned court in connection with Maranga P.S. Case No. 306 of 2024, with condition that:

(i). The petitioner will mark his attendance at the Dagarua Police Station, Purnea on every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Ranjeet/- U T
