2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is retired from the post of Upper Division Clerk from Nagar Nigam, Sasaram on 31.07.2007. Similarly situated person on the post of Upper Division Clerk have been granted benefit of 6th pay commission, the petitioner is not provided any benefit for which he has already made his representation before the respondents through Annexure 'P/1' but no decision has been taken yet, therefore, it is prayed by

Patna High Court CWJC No.2907 of 2025(2) dt.20-02-2025 2/2 learned counsel for the petitioner that the petition may be disposed of directing the concerned authority to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner which he raised through Annexure 'P/1' and pass a reasoned order within a stipulated period fixed by this Court.

3. The prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner is not opposed by learned counsel for the State as well as learned counsel for respondent no. 4.

Considering the submission made by learned counsel for both the parties, the petition is disposed of directing respondent no. 4 to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner which he raised through representation (Annexure 'P/1') and pass a reasoned order in accordance with relevant rules and laws as early as possible probably within 60 days from the receipt of the copy of this order.
