This appeal has been preferred against the order dated 21.12.2024, passed by the learned Court of Exclusive Special Judge, S.C./S.T.-cum-Additional Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur, in connection with Hajipur S.C./S.T. P.S. Case No. 39 of 2024, registered for the offences under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 74, 318(4), 352, 351(2), and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, and Sections 3(1)(r)(s)(w)(i) and 3(2)(va) of the S.C./S.T. (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, by which the prayer for anticipatory bail of the appellant was rejected.
3. Learned counsel for the informant has submitted that despite being given an opportunity, the appellant has not disclosed the true details of the cases filed against him. Learned
Patna High Court CR. APP (SJ) No.584 of 2025(4) dt.13-11-2025 2/2 counsel for the informant has produced photocopies of the F.I.R.s of Sadar P.S. Case No. 950 of 2023 and Sadar P.S. Case No. 363 of 2025, in which the appellant is a named accused.
4. From the reading of the F.I.R.s, it appears that the appellant is involved in land grabbing and there are also allegations of extortion of Rs. 10 lakhs.
5. In view of the above, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the appellant. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed.
6. The interim order dated 18.03.2025 stands vacated.
7. The appellant is directed to surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks, failing which the Superintendent of Police, Vaishali, Hajipur, shall take all necessary steps to arrest the appellant.
8. Let a copy of this order be communicated through FAX to the Superintendent of Police, Vaishali, Hajipur, for its immediate compliance.
