The petitioner seeks bail in Siwan Muffasil (Dhanauti O.P.) P.S. Case No. 315 of 2013, registered under Sections 498(A), 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The mother of the deceased alleged that her daughter was married to the petitioner on 23.05.2013 but on 02.08.2013 she got information that her daughter was burnt to death. She also alleged that the accused persons were threatening her to kill. Shri Raghav Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the victim committed suicide.
