ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 20-01-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

The petitioner has filed the present modification application seeking extension of time earlier granted vide order dated 27.10.2015, by which the petitioner had been granted the privilege of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to some unforeseen circumstances, the petitioner could not present himself and surrender before the Court below within the time limit fixed by this Court and, accordingly, prayed for extension of time to appear/surrender before the Court below.

Considering the reasons referred in the modification application, let the petitioner surrender within a period of three weeks from today. The modification application thus, stands disposed of.
