Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after retirement of the petitioner as an Assistant Teacher on 31.12.2007, the Accountant General had prepared a PPO on 25.07.2016 and revised pension payable to the petitioner which was sent to the Treasury Officer, Jamui which is Annexure-1. He then refers to Annexure-2 and 3 series wherein the Treasury Officer, Jamui had sent the PPO to the State Bank of India Branch Jamui from where it was sent to the Branch Manager,
Patna High Court CWJC No.13749 of 2018(2) dt.18-12-2018 2/2 State Bank of India, Harnarayanpur but the said bill has been lost in transit for which a Sanha being S.D. No. 546/17 dated 18.01.2017 has been lodged.
Considering the fact that the two Branches of the State Bank of India in transit have lost the pay bill of the petitioner, let the Accountant General issue another PPO to the Treasury Officer, Jamui within a fortnight. The Treasury Officer, Jamui would prepare the pension slip and send the same to the State Bank of India, Jamui Branch within a period of one month from the date of receipt of PPO by the Accountant General Office, and entire payment be made to the petitioner within two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
Writ application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation and directions.
