The petitioner seeks bail in Bettiah (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 35 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304 B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is the husband. The father of the deceased made allegation that his daughter was married to the petitioner on May, 2009, but second marriage was done on 18.01.2014. His son-in-law demanded money and chain of gold. After five days of the second marriage his daughter was done to death.

It is submitted that the villagers were examined and they disclosed that the deceased committed suicide inside the room. Her dead body was taken up after breaking the door.

No.48549 of 2014 (3) dt.20-04-2015 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts that the petitioner is the husband and after five days of the second marriage, the wife of the petitioner was done to death, ligature mark was found on the neck of the deceased, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within one year from the date of receipt of this order.
