The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 302 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 3(2)V of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The informant, on the basis of the information received from Ram Pravesh Ram and Ali Hasan, named Chandra Bhushan Singh, Arvind Pandey, Binod Pandey, Birendra Pandey, Bhikhari Rai and Munna Rai with 5-7 unknown persons and alleged that they all killed her husband Budhram Paswan. It is submitted that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. Name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of Munna Rai, who disclosed that the petitioner also conspired in the killing of the husband of the informant.
