This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 364, 394, 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.
The allegation is that the petitioner, who was former driver of the informant, in collusion with the present driver took away the vehicle and looted the articles of the vehicle as well as committed murder of the present driver. Subsequently, the petitioner was arrested and in his confessional statement name of co-accused, Heera Tanti, trankspired and on disclosure of Heera Tanti some stolen articles of the vehicle was recovered. Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 28.02.2016 in a case where allegation is based on circumstantial evidence and also considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3652 of 2017 (2) dt.07-03-2017 2/2 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Sessions Trial No. 434 of 2016 arising out of Neema-Chandpura P.S. Case No. 1 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge, VII, Begusarai, or successor Court.
