JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 05-03-2020 The petitioner seeks direction upon the respondents to consider his case for compassionate appointment. The father of the petitioner died in harness on 4.5.2017 while working as Assistant Teacher, Middle School, Pachrukhi, Nawadah.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after the death of his father the petitioner has approached the respondents for compassionate appointment but the respondents are not taking any decision.

Patna High Court CWJC No.4445 of 2020(2) dt.05-03-2020 2/2 Considering the object of compassionate appointment, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondents to take appropriate decision with regard to the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment. In the event the petitioner is not found suitable for appointment as Panchayat Shikshak, the respondents shall consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on Class III or IV posts in the light of the recommendation of the High Power Committee as contained in memo no. 1275 dated 26.9.2019. Necessary decision in this regard must be taken by the respondents within a maximum period of 4 months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
