In the present writ application, the petitioner seeks direction to the respondents authorities to grant the license of N.P. Bore pistol in terms of provisions of Arms Act. The petitioner had applied for grant of arms licence on 11.11.2016 vide Annexure 1 to the present application, but the said application is pending till date.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the Respondent No.2 i.e. The District Magistrate-cum-District Arms Magistrate, Nawada is directed to consider the application of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a
