The petitioner is accused in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 250 of 2016, registered under Section 384/506 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is of demanding ransom to the informant through mobile No. 8083697869.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. In course of investigation, it has come that the SIM from which the ransom was demanded belongs to one Renu Devi and this petitioner has no concerned with the Renu Devi. Further submission is that in course of investigation, co-accused Santosh Kumar was apprehended by the Police and he disclosed the name of the petitioner in his
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3424 of 2017 (2) dt.13-02-2017 2/2 confessional statement, except the confessional statement there is no material to show his involvement in the present case. Further submission is that petitioner is accused in three other cases, as detailed in para-03 of the petition, but he is on bail in two cases. Further submission is that petitioner has been remanded in this case from Kotwali P.S. Case No. 251 of 2016. The petitioner is in custody since 23.09.2016. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Munger in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No.250 of 2016. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner, who will file an affidavit showing his relation with the petitioner.
