The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Katihar (Sahayak) P.S. Case No. 656 of 2015, registered for offences punishable under Sections 326, 307, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. but subsequently on the statement made before the Police by one of the miscreants, who have been arrested from the place of occurrence, the name of the petitioner has been dragged into the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner cannot be prosecuted on the basis of a confessional statement made before the Police as the same has no

Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances and the nature of allegation made, let the petitioner above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bond of Rs. 10,000 (Rs. Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with Katihar (Sahayak) P.S. Case No. 656 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
