I have perused the records.

The petitioner prays for a direction to the respondents for making appointment against the post of non-teaching staff (Instructor) in Government Engineering Colleges. The petitioner admits that he was appointed against one of such posts vide selection list dated 12.7.2007 at Annexure 1 but since the

Patna High Court CWJC No.1064 of 2016 (2) dt.18-08-2018 appointment was for a period of one year, on its expiry the contract ended.

It is seeking such appointment that the petitioner filed contempt application bearing MJC No.5450 of 2012 and which was disposed of on the submission of the petitioner that fresh recruitment is going to be made on a contractual basis, but with a direction that the case of the petitioner be given preference in case such appointment is made of similarly situated persons. The pleadings on record do not reflect that any such appointment has taken place and in which view of the matter, no further direction can be issued.

The writ petition is disposed of.
