This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Complaint Case No. 2348 of 2013 for the offence under Section 376/511 of the Indian Penal Code.

I do not find any justification for approaching this Court nearly six years after lodging of the complaint case seeking anticipatory bail. There is no reason disclosed in this application as to why the petitioner apprehends arrest now, which he was not earlier apprehending.

Considering the above, this application is dismissed. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, his application for

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9080 of 2019(2) dt.15-02-2019 2/2 regular bail shall be considered by the learned Court below on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant of anticipatory bail.
