Following reliefs have been sought for in the present application on behalf of the petitioner:

"1(a) For quashing of the office order contained in memo no. GEN/197 dated 30.06.2018 issued under the signature of Respondent no. 5, The Registrar, B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, whereby and whereunder upon superannuation of Dr. (Prof.) Kare Lal Manjhi, Head, University Department of Geography, B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, with effect from afternoon of 30.06.2018, the Vice-Chancellor has appointed the respondent no. 6, Dr. Uma Shankar Singh,

Patna High Court CWJC No.14496 of 2018(2) dt.10-08-2018 2/3 Associate Professor, TRM Dr. RMLS College, Muzaffarpur as Head of the University Department of Geography, BRA Bihar University, Muzaffarpur with effect from forenoon of 01.07.2018 for a period of three years or till the date of his superannuation whichever is earlier.

(b) For a direction to the Respondent no. 4 to appoint the petitioner as Head of the University Department of Geography, BRA Bihar University, Muzaffarpur in terms of the Revised Statute for the scheme of Rotation of Headship in the Department of Universities/Colleges for the Universities of Bihar bearing no. BSU-26/2008-2155/GS(I) dated 30.06.2008." Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to file a representation before the respondent no. 4 (The Vice Chancellor, B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur) for redressal of his grievances. The respondent no. 4 (The Vice Chancellor, B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur) is directed to dispose of the representation and pass a necessary order within a period of three months from the date of filing of such representation. The petitioner will be at liberty to draw the attention of the respondent no. 4 in respect of the revised statute for the scheme of Rotation of Headship bearing no. BSU-26/2008-2155/GS(I)
