This Court has been informed that in this case, a first information report has been lodged giving rise to Muffasil P.S. Case no. 341 of 2018. The stage of investigation is, however, not known to learned counsel for the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ application has been filed by a mentally handicapped

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1908 of 2018(2) dt.21-12-2022 2/2 woman through her guardian. Her properties are being disturbed by the named accused persons.

In the circumstances stated above, this Court directs the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaya (Respondent No. 7) to personally look into the grievance of the petitioner and issue appropriate directions to the investigating officer to complete the investigation of the case. In case, it is found that the property of the petitioner is being disturbed by any miscreant, adequate protection be provided to the petitioner considering that she is mentally handicapped woman.
