Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to make necessary correction in prayer portion of the bail petition. The petitioner is accused in connection with Sursand P.S. Case No. 153 of 2016, registered under Section 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47 of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 40 bottles, each containing 300 ML, Saheli Saufi (Nepali country made liquor) from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent is in custody since 18.08.2016.

No.3897 of 2017 (2) dt.23-02-2017 2/2 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the SDJM, Pupari, Sitamarhi in connection with Sursand P.S. Case No.153 of 2016.
