ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 25-01-2017 No one appears on behalf of the contempt petitioner. The matter relates to the appointment of constable. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court, a show-cause has been filed by opposite party No. 8. In the said show cause, it has been stated that the petitioners after qualifying in the written test, could not make it to the merit-list and, therefore, the cases were not considered. In the said show cause, it has also been averred that
Patna High Court MJC No.557 of 2012 (6) dt.25-01-2017 P2/2 the Advertisement No. 1 of 2004 and 2 of 2004 under the District of Ara were conducted and petitioner nos. 1,2 and 3 had scored marks in the physical test, but they did not make it to the merit list. So far as petitioner No. 4 is concerned, it has been stated that the matter relates to the district of Buxar. It has also been submitted that, thereafter, several vacancies have arisen and other advertisements were also issued and now no vacancy is left out. As such, there is no deliberate intention for non-compliance of the order of this Hon'ble Court. There is also no one to press the present application.
Considering the show cause filed by opposite party No. 8, the present application for contempt stands dismissed as not pressed.
