Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 249 of 2020 for the offence registered under Sections 188, 504, 506, 269, 270, 271, 295(A) of the I.P.C., 3 of the Epidemic Act and 51 of the Disaster Management Act.

The prosecution story, in brief, is that the petitioner

No.20023 of 2021(2) dt.16-12-2021 2/3 made indecent comment on Facebook against the Hon'ble Prime Minister and other Hon'ble Ministers of this country and their supporters and the post has been made with a view to create illwill and hatred in between the people of the societies. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering with the witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is further submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there was no intention on the part of the petitioner to defame any person. The certain facts which had come to the knowledge of the petitioner only those facts have been placed by him.

On behalf of the learned counsel for the State, it has been submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner above named, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East
