Having regard to the fact that the petitioner is facing prosecution for offence under Section 147, 148, 149, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act in connection with Ekangarsarai P.S. Case No. 197 of 2005 (S.T. No. 611 of 2013) and that the petitioner, before being arrested, had remained absconding for a period over seven years, this Court, keeping in view the report of the trial court dated 2.5.2015, would direct that the trial of the petitioner should be expedited and concluded within a timeframe given in the report.

The Superintendent of Police, Nalanda is hereby directed to ensure that all the witnesses of the prosecution must be

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21319 of 2014 (3) dt.29-07-2015 produced before the trial court within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order by him. With the aforementioned observation and direction, this application is disposed of.
