The present writ petition has been filed for directing the Respondent nos.3, 4 & 6 to make award and give compensation at the rate of commercial value of the land bearing Khata No.22 plot-2, Rakba-8.5 dismal. Further to direct the Respondent no.6 to measure land and make award which is notified by the Railway Board.

3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that a notification for land acquisition has been made published in the newspaper and petitioner's name was figured in the said newspaper. In this regard, petitioner has submitted representation before the Land Acquisition Officer, Aurangabad

Patna High Court CWJC No.2805 of 2025(2) dt.25-02-2025 2/2 as well as before the District Magistrate, Aurangabad, but nothing happened and her representation is still pending. Counsel further submits that the petitioner is an old lady aged about 54 years.

4. Learned Counsel for the State submits that petitioner may be directed to file a fresh representation along with all relevant documents with proof of acquisition of her land before the District Magistrate, Aurangabad (Respondent no.3).

In this view of the matter, this writ petition is hereby disposed off directing the petitioner to file application before the District Magistrate, Aurangabad (Respondent no.3) who shall take decision either by himself or by directing the Land Acquisition Officer, Aurangabad to do the needful so that the petitioner may receive her compensation amount towards award within three months from the date of production of the order. It is made clear that the District Magistrate/L.A.O, Aurangabad shall pass order only upon going through all the relevant documents relating to land in question. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Divyansh/- U
