JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-06-2023 The present petition is by way of forth attempt at the behest of the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with S.T. No. 95 of 2020, arising out of Sono P.S. Case No. 120 of 2018, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 302 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code, inasmuch as the earlier prayers of the petitioner for grant of bail have all stood dismissed by a coordinate Bench of this Court as also by this Court by various orders passed earlier. This Court has gone through the report submitted by the learned Court of Additional District and Sessions Judge 3rd, Jamui, dated 25.3.2023, wherein it has been stated that though the charges were framed on 27.11.2020, against the accused persons, however, not even a single witness has been examined till date since they have not turned up despite issuance of summons and bailable warrants of arrest.

No.10579 of 2023(3) dt.21-06-2023 2/2 At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail immediately upon expiry of one year from today, in case there is not much progress in the ongoing trial, considering the fact that he is in custody since 18.12.2018. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
