This is the second attempt of the petitioner to seek regular bail in connection with Mokama P.S. Case No. 57 of 2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 302, 147, 148, 149 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Earlier the petitioner had moved this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 59573 of 2019 seeking regular bail and the same was rejected vide order dated 06.02.2020.

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that apart from the period of custody no other development has taken place. Since there is specific allegation against the petitioner of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21332 of 2021(2) dt.16-11-2021 2/2 firing on head causing death of the deceased and the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 16.04.2019 does not persuade this Court to grant regular bail to the petitioner. The application is dismissed.
