JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 01-03-2019 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Imamganj P.S. Case No. 139 of 2018, disclosing offences under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 196, 197, 198, 199, 201 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner, who happens to be the Mukhiya and also the member of the Selection Committee, is that for appointment of the Gram Panchayat Teachers he appointed one Reena Kumari on the forged certificate. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner was the only member of the Selection Committee and it is that duty of the Panchayat Sewak to verify the documents and she has falsely been implicated in this case.
